A New Adventure!

Filed under: Gaming — James @ 9:28 am

Whether I’m playing Lara Croft or Indiana Jones, I really enjoy working my way through jungles and booty traps (That’s what I said!) to finally arrive at well, some serious booty. These games are definitely my favorite of the 3rd person genre. Grand Theft Auto? No thanks.

The new and 7th Tomb Raider game is coming out sometime in November and I can’t wait! The game looks amazing, with astounding improvements on the previous games. And they’ve done a fabulous job on Lara this time around, making her anatomically correct finally.

New GW Sample

Filed under: Site Updates — James @ 10:03 am

Thanks to the incredibly talented Nick de Sieyes, I now have a demo recording of one of my all time favorite Gravity Willing songs, “Roundabout” (aka the “Delay Song”). No it’s not a Yes cover. But it is a GW original and is yet another example of what a great sound the band had. I will always be so very proud of everything we did.

PDA Take 7 Gazillion

Filed under: Hardware, Etc. — James @ 4:13 pm

At Christmas two years ago I received a Tungsten E Palm OS based PDA and I really like it a lot. Since owning it I’ve had a lot of trouble simply getting in the habit of using it since I’d never had a PDA before. I can’t say exactly how many times I’ve tried to work the darned thing into my routine and life. I like the idea and honestly, I really need something with me to keep track of my schedule and contacts.

I could spend a heap of money on more recent technology (an all-in-one cell phone) but there really isn’t a need. The Tungsten E takes care of my calendar, contacts, finances and other misc. notes and things. I also just ordered a 1gb SD (only $59 @ Dell right now!) card so I can have my photos along with some videos and a bunch of music on hand. It’s got a great looking color screen too.

Anyway… So I’ve invested in the SD card and have begun loading it up with all my info. I really hope that this time I can make it a habit and get my life a little more organized.
