Ultraviolet is out in theaters now and I’m looking forward to seeing it. I’ve never read any of the comics but this film looks amazing. Check out clips of some of the fight scenes here. Allison, Amy, Mike and myself are heading out to see it tomorrow afternoon.
Wow, it’s been a while since I posted anything. I think of stuff that I want to say all the time but only when I’m no where near a PC. And when I am on a computer, I always have something else that steals my attention. C’est la vie.
After a two month break, Melborne and I are slowly getting back into playing music again. At the moment we get together occasionally to run the material we already have worked up to keep it fresh. In the meantime, Meb is working on new material. Meb also refreshed his site a bit which you can check out here.
I’ve been itching to play some more rock oriented stuff again. Heck, it has been a while (okay, a really long time) since I’ve had the time to even head down to the studio to practice on my own. Meb’s stuff calls for a more laid back approach with less volume. And since I’m either playing with standard brushes or “Whips“, it’s definitely not the kind of situation where I can pull out the sticks and really lay into it. So once things settle down a bit, I hope to get back into some sort of practice routine again. Ryan has some stuff he’d like for me to lay some drums down on and I know I’ll at least need to practice for that.
