This is the new thing that Joey and Corey from The Big Pill are doing. I really dig this tune a lot, especially when it gets slow and grindy at about 2:10 and I love the guitar solo. I really do hope these guys make it big. We NEED stuff like this on the radio. Their debut record should be out soon…

Allison and I are getting ready for our trip to Scotland next week. It will be great to see our friends and gracious hosts Robert, Angela and Samantha again. Being able to visit them twice in one year is so unbelievably fantastic. As for seeing Level 42 live, it has been a dream of mine for close to 25 years now to see them play. And to have it happen at the The Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow?! No doubt, a dream come true. Their latest album “Retroglide” has been on repeat in the car and I am getting seriously psyched! Of all the artists that I enjoy listening to, Level 42 and Rush are the two that I will never tire of.
The plans are set and everything is booked for the family trip to Disney World for Thanksgiving. I still can’t believe we’re spending T-Day and almost a week in a theme park. It’s going to be awesome!! I’ll be able to have a pint at the Rose & Crown multiple days in a row! ;) A HUGE thanks is owed to the Giovettis for making this happen.

After having a delightful lunch in Doolin we made our way to the Cliffs of Moher. It was incredibly windy up there just as it was the first time I visited the cliffs back in ’98. Thankfully it wasn’t raining this time…
We did manage to take a picture of each other at the top. We were just a tad wind beaten by this point:
For dinner we went to the fantastic Pullman Restaurant at the Glenlo Abbey Hotel in Galway before heading back to the Adare Guest House. What an experience! It was an early Wednesday evening and we were the only people there! The atmosphere was incredible, the food was very good and presented brilliantly. I’d love to go there again one day.
