We’re off to the studio this morning to record as much of the CD as possible. We played through the material last night and we’re feeling good. We plan on tweeting some pics from the studio if possible. As always, thanks for your support!
We’ve booked some time next month at Invisible Sound Studios in Baltimore to record our debut album. We’ll post more information here soon.

We’re going to play a tight, 45 minute set, opening for PUSH. We go on at 8:30, off by 9:15. We’re going to play mostly our original tunes with a few covers mixed in. If you feel like making the drive out to Finksburg, please come out and join us!

Ryan and his family are right in the middle of moving so we’re taking a little break at moment. Both Ryan and Eric, the crafty fellows that they are, are working on setting up a new place for us to rehearse and record. Once that happens, we’ll relearn all of the songs and possibly play a show. Oh the horror!
New mixes of the demos are up.
These were recorded in Ryan’s garage and were mixed at Drew Mazurek’s HighView Studio.
Drew did a bang-up job, so if you need some mixing, give him a call.
“So when are you guys gonna play some shows?”
This is what I keep getting asked by just about everyone I know.
So, here’s the deal:
Last week we wrote down a preliminary setlist. Said list consists of 100% original material. We played through it and figured out some transistions between songs… rearranged a few things…
We played it again last night and it took us about an hour to get through it. That’s more time than we anticipate having at any gigs any time soon, but then again, we talked here and there between stuff and took a little extra time switching guitars & tuning.
And, again – that’s all original stuff. Since people might like to have a few familiar things thrown into the mix, we then turned our attention to a few covers. Let’s just say Lennon and McCartney had no idea how heavy their stuff could be.
So, as to when we’ll play at a dump near you — my best guess is… sometime. Hopefully sometime soon.
In the interest of posting some news that’s, well, new…
Things have been a little slow because Ryan had a new baby. Actually, he didn’t have the baby. His wife did. His only significant contribution was way back at the beginning about 9 months ago.
In the ensuing chaos that is the arrival of a small screaming thing, we somehow found time to go to Highview Studios and mix two songs with Drew Mazurek. They’re not 100% finished yet – a few tweaks are still needed, but we are totally blown away by what he was able to do with stuff that was recorded in a garage room with a low ceiling and barely any sound treatment.
We’ll replace the two tracks that are up now with the new mixes as soon as they’re finished.
Ryan finished up another demo this morning and I’ve put it up in the usual places: Audio Downloads and MySpace (Please note that it will take MySpace a long time to actually show that I’ve added a new song. MySpace=Teh Suck.)
